Richard nguyen sloniker
(Artistic Director, Founder) is a writer, performer and educator. He’s appeared at the Guthrie Theatre, Intiman, Seattle Shakespeare Company, Book-It Repertory Theatre, the Northwest Asian American Theatre, SIS Productions, the Village Theatre, and the Seattle Children’s Theatre.
His plays have been seen and heard on the stages of the Northwest Asian American Theatre, Theatre Creatures, the University of Washington, and through Insatiable with SIS Productions.
Richard has been an instructor in acting for nearly a decade in Seattle communities, Seattle Public Schools, Seattle Parks and Recreation, Prima Vera Arts Center, and is currently on faculty at the University of Washington’s School of Drama.
He holds an MFA from the University of Washington’s Professional Actor Training Program, is a graduate of the prestigious Guthrie Experience for Actors in Training at the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis, and has a Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology.
(Associate Artist) is a stage director based in Seattle and the San Francisco Bay Area.
Recent Seattle directing credits include "Hunter Gatherers" (Washington Ensemble Theatre); "Ching Chong Chinaman" (SIS Productions), Keith Hitchcock’s "Muffin Face" (Unicycle Collective & Balagan Theatre); "Big Love" (UW School of Drama); "The Thugs" and "Women of Trachis" (Cornish College of the Arts). In the Bay Area, she has directed the world premiere of "Ching Chong Chinaman," "Money & Run Episode 4: Go Straight, No Chaser" and "Crumble (Lay Me Down, Justin Timberlake)" at Impact Theatre in Berkeley.
She has worked on new play development with Playwright’s Foundation, Freehold Theatre, SIS Productions, San Francisco Young Playwright’s Festival, Ross Valley Alternative Works, and the Asian American Theater Company New Works Incubator. Additional credits include Intiman Theatre (Director, Living History), California Shakespeare Theater (Artistic Learning Assistant), Mark Taper Forum (Literary Assistant, New Works Festival), among others. Assistant Directing credits include the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Arizona Theatre Company, and A Contemporary Theatre. She was recently awarded the SDCF Directing Observership for Intiman Theatre's production of "Paradise Lost."
Desdemona is an associate member of Stage Directors and Choreographers Society and an alumnus of the Lincoln Center Theater Directors Lab and Directors Lab West.

When she's not in the theatre, Desdemona is practicing her expert level drumming skills on Rock Band in hopes of achieving international superstardom.
SERIN NGAI
(Associate Artist) is a playwright, theater producer, actress, and family law attorney. She co-created and wrote the original episodes of the popular "Sex in Seattle" series produced by SIS Productions, which she also helped found and worked as an Executive Producer for several years. Serin sits on the board of the Asian Bar Association of Washington and volunteers at the King County Neighborhood Legal Clinics.
